This module is designed for stage use and managing complex patches. Its main purpose is to eliminate the need for physically rearranging patch cables. With the help of snapshot functions, it can dynamically reroute connections within a single patch.
The MATRIX 428 features four inputs and eight outputs, all capable of routing audio, CV, and digital signals.
Each output is equipped with a SOURCE button, allowing you to assign any of the available inputs to that output. Additionally, each output can be individually enabled or disabled. This means there’s no need to replug cables when switching between different patches or modifying routing within a single patch.
What truly sets the MATRIX 428 apart is its snapshot functionality: it allows you to change cable routing within a saved patch — as if you were physically unplugging a cable and reconnecting it elsewhere — all in a fraction of a second, fully automatically.
All inputs and outputs on the MATRIX 428 support signal levels up to ±10 V (20 Vpp), making it compatible with most Eurorack modulation and audio signals.
