OPERATING AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Please follow the instructions below regarding the use of Adamsynths™ devices, as only these ensure proper operation and the validity of the Adamsynths™ warranty.
-
Always use a grounded electrical outlet!
-
Do not twist, bend, or place heavy objects on the power cable! This may damage the cable and cause short circuits, fire, or electric shock.
-
Use Adamsynths™ modules exclusively with the power supply (ASR-PSU) and rails (ASR-RAILS) provided with the Adamsynths™ system. Using power supplies or rails from other manufacturers may result in malfunction or permanent damage to the modules.
-
Never attempt to modify, delete, or hack the control firmware or software. This will result in immediate loss of warranty.
-
Do not attempt to repair the device or replace components. This will also result in immediate loss of warranty.
-
Do not open the device, except when replacing modules, and only do so as follows:
-
WARNING! Before replacing or rearranging modules: Always turn off the device and unplug it from the wall socket before replacing or rearranging any modules. Working on the system while it’s powered can cause serious damage and may result in fatal electric shock.
-
Ensure that no liquid substances (such as water or alcohol), flammable materials, or solid conductive objects enter the device, as these may cause electrical short circuits, permanent damage, or fire.
-
Protect the device from strong external impacts, drops, and vibrations!
-
Never use the device under the following conditions:
-
Temperatures above +40 °C or below -10 °C
-
Humidity above 60%
-
Exposure to rain, dust, or strong vibrations
Immediately turn off the device and contact us at support [at] adamsynths.com if:
-
The power plug or cable is damaged
-
Smoke or unusual odor is coming from the device
-
Foreign objects or liquids have entered the device
-
The device has been exposed to rain or moisture
-
The device is not functioning properly
WARNING!
-
Do not connect the device to a power outlet that is shared with appliances using an inverter or a switching power supply (e.g., refrigerator, washing machine, microwave oven, air conditioner) or with motor-driven equipment.
-
Depending on the operation of such appliances, power supply noise may cause malfunction or audible interference in the device. If a separate power outlet is not available, use a noise filter between the device and the other appliance.
-
The device may become warm during several hours of continuous operation. This is normal and not a cause for concern.
-
Turn off all devices before connecting this device to others. This prevents damage to speakers and other equipment.
-
Using the device near amplifiers or other equipment containing transformers may cause noise. To resolve this, move the device or the interfering equipment.
-
Noise may also occur if a wireless communication device, such as a mobile phone, is used near the device. This may happen during call initiation, reception, or redirection. If this occurs, move the wireless device away from the unit or turn it off.
-
This device may interfere with radio or television reception. Do not use it near such receivers.
-
If the device is transported to an environment with significantly different temperature and/or humidity, condensation may form inside. Using the device in this state may cause damage or malfunction. Wait until all moisture has evaporated before using the device. This may take several hours; do not connect it to power during this time.
-
The device must be transported only in its original packaging. Devices returned for replacement and/or warranty repair must be sent in their original packaging. All other shipments will be rejected and returned to you. Please ensure you retain the original packaging and technical documentation.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the device daily. Always use a dusting brush and a soft, dry or slightly damp, non-abrasive cloth. Then wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Never use alcohol, benzine, thinner, acetone, or other solvents, nor alkaline or acidic cleaning agents, as these may cause discoloration or deformation.
WASTE DISPOSAL
Adamsynths™ devices comply with EU directives and are manufactured without the use of lead, mercury, cadmium, or chromium. They meet RoHS requirements. Nevertheless, these products are considered special waste and should not be disposed of with household waste.

Copying, distributing, or using the user manual for any commercial purpose is strictly prohibited and requires written permission from Adamsynths™. Specifications are subject to change without prior notice.
