ABOUT WARTHOG – The Analog Modular Synthesizer with Total Recall
Adamsynths™ Warthog is the world’s first analog modular synthesizer equipped with Total Recall technology – a groundbreaking system that allows full patch memory and recall in a 100% analog environment.
Unlike digital or virtual modular platforms, Warthog is a true analog Eurorack system that stores and recalls every parameter: knob positions, switch states, module configurations, and even complete patch routing – including audio, CV, GATE, and modulation paths.
Modular Freedom Meets Memory Precision
Warthog modules are fully swappable and expandable, giving you the freedom to build your ideal setup. But what makes Warthog unique is its ability to remember everything – enabling you to revisit, evolve, and experiment without losing your creative flow.
Whether you’re in the studio or on stage, Warthog’s snapshot system and real-time morphing capabilities make it a powerful tool for live performance synthesis and creative sound design.
Powered by the Central Unit & Mood Wheels
At the heart of the system is the Central Unit, which manages patch saving, module states, and snapshot switching. Paired with the Mood Wheels – two large wooden control wheels that trigger and morph between snapshots – Warthog becomes an expressive, dynamic instrument that responds to your performance in real time.
W2W Patch Sharing – From Studio to Stage
Warthog doesn’t just remember – it connects. With the W2W (Warthog to Warthog) feature, users can share their patches with other Warthog users – whether across the studio or across the globe.
Built on a Custom Hardware Platform
The Warthog Cabinet is more than just a rack – it’s a purpose-built enclosure with a proprietary ASR-RAILS bus system and ASR-PSU power supply, essential for enabling Total Recall. While Warthog modules require this infrastructure, the cabinet also supports standard Eurorack modules, allowing seamless integration of third-party gear.
