CENTRAL UNIT

This module serves as the central hub of the Warthog system. It facilitates communication between modules, handles MIDI–CV conversion, and provides the unique Adamsynths™ TOTAL RECALL feature, allowing patches to be saved and recalled.
The interface includes navigation and function buttons, an encoder, a 2.8-inch touchscreen display, and 12 analog CV outputs alongside 12 “digital” outputs, all of which can be freely assigned based on the needs of the patch. On the back panel of the Warthog, you’ll find MIDI IN/OUT, a USB port, as well as WiFi and Ethernet connectivity.
MIDI to CV & USB MIDI to CV Interface:
The analog outputs are independently configurable: they can function as NOTE, VELOCITY, AFTERTOUCH, PITCH BEND, or CONTROL CHANGE outputs. The source (USB or MIDI) is freely selectable. CV outputs can be switched, inverted, and operate within ±5V or 0–10V ranges. They can be turned on/off or assigned fixed values: ON, OFF, -5V, 0V, +5V, or +10V. This is especially useful during live performance when rearranging patch cables is not desirable.
The “digital” outputs are also independently configurable: they can serve as GATE, TRIG, S-TRIG, SYNC, or CONTROL CHANGE outputs. The source can again be USB or MIDI. “D” outputs can be switched and inverted. In SYNC mode, a “D” output can be PPQN-based or assigned a SYNC DIV value (e.g., 1, 2, 4, 8, etc.).
DAW Integration:
All parameters of the Warthog modules can be controlled via MIDI. These settings are accessible through the CENTRAL UNIT menu. Simply select the desired module and assign the appropriate MIDI controller to the chosen parameter.
Snapshots:
Each patch can store up to 32 snapshots, managed by the CENTRAL UNIT. In the snapshot menu, you can define how snapshots are controlled or morphed: via MIDI, function buttons, the touchscreen, or using the Mood Wheels.
Menu of hidden parameters:
Each module has its own settings accessible through the Hidden Parameters menu. After selecting a module, additional functions can be configured, and for certain modules, calibration parameters are also available here.
Firmware update:
Warthog modules consist of digitally controlled analog circuits, offering vast potential for future developments. Firmware updates for the controllers are also handled via the CENTRAL UNIT. The system notifies users of available updates, but installation must always be manually approved by the user.

A modern, universal multimode VCF and VCA combined in a single module, featuring an integrated mixer and overdrive functionality. Four selectable filter modes are available: 4-pole low-pass, 2-pole low-pass, 2-pole band-pass, and 2-pole high-pass. In low-pass modes, Q-compensation is not only switchable but also adjustable, allowing you to fine-tune how much low-frequency content is restored [...]
The OSCILLATOR is a robust, high-stability, SAW core, through-zero analog VCO. Its symmetrical waveform outputs are DC-coupled, meaning they are capacitor-free. The waveform output level is 10 Vpp. This is an audiophile-grade solution that ensures distortion-free waveforms across the entire spectrum. The oscillator’s full frequency range spans 10 octaves, with a deviation of ± a [...]
The Adamsynths™ Warthog is an analog modular synthesizer equipped with Total Recall technology. It is the first analog modular synthesizer in the world to feature full patch memory and recall. And yes. This is not a digital platform. Not a virtual modular synthesizer. This is a 100% analog sound engine, Eurorack format, plug & play [...]
Two wooden control wheels designed for morphing between snapshots and modulating that morphing process. Mood Wheels allows you to completely reshape the sound of the Warthog within a single patch, making the music more expressive and alive. It’s called “MOOD” rather than “MOD” for a reason — this is about shaping the mood, not just [...]
This module is designed for stage use and managing complex patches. Its main purpose is to eliminate the need for physically rearranging patch cables. With the help of snapshot functions, it can dynamically reroute connections within a single patch. The MATRIX 428 features four inputs and eight outputs, all capable of routing audio, CV, and [...]
A single module combining an ADSR and a DADSR-type, CV-controllable envelope generator. The envelope generators operate in either GATED or TRIGGERED mode, which determines LEGATO or STACCATO playing behavior. Gated – The envelope remains active as long as the gate signal is held. In legato playing, it does not retrigger. Triggered – The envelope restarts [...]
